The Manager Technology (IT) requires an in-depth understanding of technology concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of other related disciplines. The Manager Technology (IT) must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the technology discipline as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. The Manager Technology (IT) impacts the level of service and the technology team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Decisions made by the Manager of Technology (IT) should be guided by policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan.

• Work closely with professionals spanning application development, infrastructure, cyber security, and networking to identify opportunities to accelerate our journey to the cloud
• Bring a well-rounded skillset capable of spanning business and technical disciplines and be comfortable working with others to shape ideas into fully assessed, designed, and implemented cloud solutions
• Will work closely with other IT professionals to identify areas of opportunity to continually improve our overall security posture
• Able to identify opportunities to improve the overall service delivery, quality, and adoption of a modern communication corporate solution
• Responsible for leading Cyber Security intelligence team operations which primarily focus on Security incident monitoring / analysis / reporting / mitigation / intelligence generation from the available logs / correlations
• Generate Security Metrics that will help Senior Management understand the effectiveness / gaps in the security infra / incident management process
• Create Supporting documentation that enabled governance over all aspects of Incident management
• Responsible for managing security infra–availability / upgrades / capacity management, etc.
• Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures
• Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures
• Ensure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams
