Deputy Project Manager - Alternative Delivery (PE)

DRMP is seeking a motivated Deputy Project Manager to help the growing Alternative Delivery Market Sector based in our Orlando office.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is knowledgeable in transportation design (roadway, drainage, traffic or structures) and willing to learn the ropes of project management including assisting the project manager with team coordination, attending client meetings, scheduling, invoicing, and implementing project management best practices. They should also be willing to market, control and develop projects for the Florida Department of Transportation , Overall project management assistance for complex roadway capacity projects on limited access facilities in Florida .

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

Conducts engineering investigations and plans work by completing well defined tasks including collection and analysis of data; performs routine calculations and participates in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions.

• Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, and designs for project.
• Prepares and updates schedules to advance the project.
• Collaborates with clients, sub-consultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements.
• Directs and mentors support staff.
