Project / Program Specialist 2
The Sigma Operations Group (SIGMA-OPS) seeks an energetic, customer-focused individual for the position of Project / Program Specialist 2 to serve as an integral part of the Programmatic Project Management Team. This team focuses on the incorporation of project management principles and the implementation of standard processes across Sigma Division. Additionally, this team serves as a primary liaison with a variety of Sigma Division programmatic organizations, support organizations, and LANL program offices. The successful candidate will provide high-level professional business and operational support, working alongside Sigma Division project leaders to meet programmatic project deliverables. This position requires a motivated and professional individual who is capable of acting independently, is comfortable with a broadly defined scope of work, and who can operate within a dynamic organization. The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
Position commitment :
Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. If an employee has not served the time required, they may only apply for Laboratory jobs with the documented approval of their Division Leader. The position commitment for this position is 1 year.

Regular position : Term status Laboratory employees applying for regular-status positions are converted to regular status.
