Purpose Statement :

The job of Instructional Assistant Special Education is done for the purpose / s of assisting assigned teaching personnel in the supervision and instruction of physically / emotionally handicapped and / or learning disabled students as assigned; and performing classroom clerical tasks in support of the instructional process.

Starting Salary $21.30 Per Hour

Substitute - On-Call Hours Vary

Requirements / Qualifications

Must be 18 years old

Paraprofessional Test Required (Upon Job Offer) - An AA Degree or Higher Satisfies

TB Test (Required Upon Job Offer)

Fingerprints / Livescan (Required Upon Job Offer)

• Letter(s) of Recommendation- Submit up to 3 letters
• Proof of HS Graduation (Or proof of college degree)
• Resume
