Nights with 8 and 12-hour shifts, every third weekend rotation, and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift.

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, caring for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Patients part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program for both hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes.High volumes of cervical and spinal surgery patients, plus medical overflow cases.Our unit is part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), providing exposure to the latest techniques in neurosurgical care.

Assess and plan individualized interventions for patient care, involving patients and families throughout the process.Recognize changes in patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly, collaborating with healthcare teams.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.Actively participate in discharge planning and quality improvement initiatives.Demonstrate effective communication skills and foster collaboration within the care team.Licensure and Education :
Registered Nurse license in the practice state and Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.Completion of an accredited nursing program.Typically requires at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to lift, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks throughout the workday.Regularly lift up to 50 lbs, push / pull with 30 lbs of force, and perform sliding transfers with assistance.May be exposed to hazardous materials and must utilize protective clothing and equipment as necessary.This job description is designed to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and qualifications required for this position.
