Rambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider, is seeking to hire an exceptional Data & AI Intern to join our IT team in San Jose, CA. Candidates will be joining some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world to develop products that make data faster and safer.

As a Data & AI Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects that harness the power of data and AI. This internship is designed to provide exposure to enterprise data platforms, analytics tools, and AI development workflows.

Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid approach for the majority of our office-based roles. We encourage employees to spend an average of at least three days per week working onsite, allowing for two days of remote work.

Responsibilities

• Support IT-led initiatives that apply AI to improve business processes such as ticket triaging, resource planning, or customer support.
• Assist in preparing datasets for AI experiments focused on real-world business challenges.
• Participate in workshops and brainstorming sessions to explore AI use cases in areas like automation, personalization, and operational efficiency.
• Help document AI project outcomes and learnings to inform future IT strategy and innovation efforts.
• Support the creation of dashboards and visual reports using visualization tools.
• Explore basic AI applications such as sentiment analysis, image classification, or chatbot development.
• Engage in learning sessions on ethical AI, model bias, and responsible data use.

Rambus offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, equity, matching 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, comprehensive medical and dental benefits, time-off program, and gym membership.

The US salary range for this full-time position is $25.90 to $48.10. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions.
