Summary

This position is being announced to All U.S. Citizens and Nationals. Responsibilities will include conducting audits in support of investigations and litigation involving the government's affirmative civil enforcement of federal laws, reviewing complex data, and preparing audit reports. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet one of the basic requirements described below in A AND the minimum qualifications described below in B.

A. Basic Qualification Requirements

• Degree : A Bachelor's or higher degree in accounting; OR A Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting.
• OR Combination of education and experience : at least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge.

B. Minimum Qualifications

For the GS-13 level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience that equipped you with the competencies needed to perform the job duties.
