Tax Intern Spring 2026

Summary :

The Tax Intern will be responsible for supporting the daily functions and activities of the tax department as well as special projects as necessary.

The internship is full-time (20 hours per week) from January through May with the opportunity to extend through the summer in our Rochester NY office and paid at a rate of $21.00 hourly.

Responsibilities :

• Compliance prepare various state and other miscellaneous tax returns to ensure compliance with local and state laws
• Research perform basic tax research on domestic tax issues including state and local tax questions and various other related issues
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for tax accounts
• Assist with the calculation of estimated payments
• Assist in preparing book to tax differences and the calculation of state apportionment
• Assist with other projects and perform other duties as assigned
