Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,498 per week in Anchorage, AK

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech Profession : Radiology / Cardiology Specialty : Cath Lab Tech Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift : 10 Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience License : Valid State License required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS Must-Have : - Experience in Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) - Strong skills in diagnostic and interventional procedures - Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments Description : The position is for a Cath Lab Tech with a significant focus on EP. The clinician can expect to work in both the Cath Lab and EP settings. Training will be provided for strong candidates to build EP skills. First-time travelers are welcomed to apply. On-call duties are required for three nights per week, limited to two hours each night. No weekend shifts are required unless the clinician opts for additional call shifts. Candidates may float within the facility to meet operational needs. Block scheduling is not accommodated. Travelers can expect a total of 70 hours guaranteed per two-week period. The facility is a Magnet recognized, Level II Trauma Center. Charting will be performed using an electronic health record system. Parking is available at no cost. The candidate must be open to working during two of three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References from previous supervisory roles are required, covering recent employment. The candidate must be fully compliant with health and safety vaccination requirements. The role involves various procedures, including diagnostic cardiac cauterizations, angioplasty, and electrophysiology evaluations.
