Job descriptionProvide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining proper nutrition. Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing. Remind and assist clients with medication as directed (per NC state regulations). Offer companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with transportation needs, including errands, medical appointments, and social activities (if applicable). Monitor and report changes in the clients health, behavior, or living conditions to supervisors or family members. Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive living environment. If enhancing you skills is important to you please know you will be provided. monthly In Services that will serve as your North Carolina State approved. Continuing Education credits . In addition quarterly, speakers are brought in to enhance your skill set , which you are given certificates upon completion. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous caregiving, home health aide, or CNA experience is a plus (but not always required). Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely as needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill Dependable, patient, and compassionate personality. Must pass a background check and drug screening (as required by North Carolina state regulations). Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred. Must have some availability.

You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior experience is a plus.
