Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nursesprovideand coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating withphysicians and multidisciplinary team members toprovidephysical and psychological support to patients and their families.Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedtoassessments and reassessments,developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance ofequipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role :

You willmonitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions whilemaintainingaccurateand detailed records

You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests toidentifyand assessthe patient'scondition.

You willdemonstrateknowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.

You will promotehospital customer service initiatives.

You willutilizethe nursingprocess for individual care to meetthe needsof patients.

You willdemonstratethe abilityto perform technical skills and procedures.

What qualifications you will need :

CurrentRN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state

CurrentBLS from the American Heart Association

ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment

CPI within 6 months of employment

Parkridge East Hospital is a 120+ bed facility in East Ridge. We provide a full range of medical and surgical services. These services include orthopedics and robotic surgery. We have a 24 / 7 Emergency Department. This ED is recognized by the Society of Chest Pain Centers as an Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility also offers obstetrical care and complex gynecological procedures. We also hold a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Specialized providers in the NICU include neonatologists, neonatal nurses and respiratory therapists. These staff are on site at all times. Visit us for excellent general and OB care!
