Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Dialysis

Location : Neptune, NJ - 07753

Initial Duration - 3 months (High possibilities of Extension)

Shift : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM or 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM or 11 : 30 AM - 11 : 00 PM

Every Other Weekend Required

Note : OTHER OPENINGS FOR ICU / LABOR & DELIVERY / MEDSURG-TELE / CVICU / ARE AVAILABLE.

Pay Range :

Local Pay : $56 - $61 / hr. on w2

Travel Pay : "EXCELLENT PAY WITH GREAT NONTAXABLE AMOUNT"

Note :

Job Summary :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.

Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.

Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.

Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.

Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.

Manages care of patients.

Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and / or clinical priorities.

Advocates for evidence based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.

Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum of 1-year prior experience working in an outpatient Dialysis center.

Minimum of 1-year prior experience of ICH Dialysis.

Knowledge of the Fresenius T Machine and portable RO's required.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

Prior Telemetry and Chronic hemodialysis experience is highly preferred.

RN must be able to manage 3 patient assignments for put on and take off.

RN must also have the ability to manage a 9-patient assignment with 2 PCT's for meds and assessment.

Required Education :

ASN

BSN (Preferred)

Required Certifications & Licensure :

BLS - AHA

NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license
