Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in San Carlos, CA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting physicians and nurses in providing quality patient care. Daily tasks include preparing patients for treatments, recording medical history and vital signs, managing medical records, and maintaining a clean and organized medical office. The Medical Assistant will also assist with minor medical / cosmetic procedures and patient education. Medical Assistant will conduct front / back office support ( including and not limited to answering phones, emails, text messages, etc. )

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology skills
• Experience in managing a Medical Office and handling Medical Records
• Strong Patient Care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Certification from a recognized Medical Assistant program
• Knowledge of dermatology and cosmetic procedures is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in a related field is beneficial
