Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate RN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience in Intermediate Medical Units (IMU) or Medical-Surgical settings, or direct experience with Emergency Department Admission Holds.

Shift : Night Shift 7p-7a

Location differential : Available for this position.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient care, utilizing the nursing process.
• Provide professional nursing care, including assessments, assisting with exams, patient education, and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Coordinate nursing care planning and implement appropriate clinical decisions based on patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate treatment and discharge plans.
• Engage in ongoing outcome evaluation and process improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with Texas Board of Nursing standards and all regulatory guidelines.
• Promote professional growth through mandatory continuing education and serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.
• Create compassionate, personalized experiences for every community member, modeling Memorial Hermann's service standards.
