5-hour-per-day position teaching small groups of students in collaboration with the lead teacher during the school day. Topics for teaching include math, science, ELA, arts, and hobbies / rec sports. A strong command of English, writing, and Math is a must. Hours for this position are from Noon to 5 : 30 PM, with some flexibility. A college graduate(AA or higher) is desired and being Bilingual in Spanish is a definite plus. This job can become full-time for exceptionally effective candidates (as part of the afterschool program).
