Description :

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified (or Eligible) Interventional Cardiologist for a short-term locum assignment covering both general cardiology rounding and STEMI call during the Thanksgiving holiday period. This is an excellent opportunity to step in and support a leading trauma-level facility offering emergency privileges for qualified candidates.

Assignment Overview :

General Cardiology Rounding : November , 2025 (8a 4p)

STEMI / Interventional Coverage : November 27 December 1, 2025 (24-hour day / night coverage)

Preferred : One physician who can cover both general and interventional weeks

Practice Setting : Inpatient & Outpatient (hospital-based rounding plus STEMI coverage)

Call Type : Beeper call, 25-minute response

Trauma Level : I

Support Staff : 4 RNs, 3 MAs, 4 APPs

EMR : Epic

Required Skills :

Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology

Echocardiography, TEE

STEMI management

Requirements :

Board Certified / Eligible in Interventional or General Cardiology

Active PA License or IMLC Qualification

Emergency Hospital privileges available

Additional Details :

Credentialing Timeframe : 10 days

Travel : Flights into Pittsburgh or Latrobe, lodging arranged by facility

Insurance : Provided by IPL Health

Holiday Coverage : Premium rates offered for Thanksgiving weekend
