About Us

Turnkey is a key management API optimized for security, flexibility, and ease-of-use. Founded by the leaders who scaled Coinbase Custody from 0 to a $100M+ ARR business, Turnkey is rewriting the rules of crypto infrastructure by tackling core security at its foundational level. We are building a platform that empowers developers to unlock the next wave of mass-market crypto applications, solving the challenge of secure, flexible key management.

Much like AWS transformed computing with the advent of cloud, Turnkey is the trustless, transparent, and decentralized infrastructure that will transform development in crypto.

Your role

As an early Sales & BD hire at Turnkey, you will have a wide-ranging role, giving you broad exposure to Turnkey's product, customers, and operational processes. With founder support, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging and closing new business opportunities. Your primary objective will be to build strong relationships with crypto teams across the ecosystem, diving deep to understand how our product can solve their problems. This role not only involves driving sales and growth but also requires a deep commitment to truly understanding and serving the needs of our diverse clientele in the crypto space.

You will also play a critical role in shaping our product and GTM strategy. Your observations will directly influence product development, helping us to continue evolving the product to meet the needs of crypto builders. This requires a deep understanding of our product, a creative mindset, and the ability to effectively communicate with our product and engineering teams.

An example of some of the things you might work on :

  • Proactively research and target potential crypto teams and emerging business models that could benefit from Turnkey's product, building a steady pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Help drive the negotiation and closing of new deals to ensure successful partnerships
  • Work closely and creatively with prospects to help them understand Turnkey's capabilities and design their unique implementation
  • Help create impactful sales materials and refine our product messaging
  • Collective and synthesize feedback from clients to inform product development
  • Effectively represent Turnkey at conferences, private events, and online

What we're looking for

  • Hungry, ambitious sales generalist who's excited to contribute across multiple functions
  • 2+ years experience in a fast-paced, client-facing work environment
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for crypto; demonstrated interest in following the latest developments and effectively engaging with influential crypto communities
  • Self-starter attitude with a high degree of autonomy and initiative
  • Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability, resilience, and comfort in a constantly evolving environment
  • Style points

  • Previous experiences in B2B sales at a startup or high-growth company
  • Already well-networked in the crypto world
  • Technical background or proficiency
