Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Cedar Rapids, Iowa (52402)

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (OR)

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 21 / 2025 – End : 3 / 22 / 2026)

Shift : Day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday, with a random day off; may float across campuses)

On-Call Requirement : One night per week and one weekend per month

Weekly Hours : 40

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2070–$2220

Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa

BLS certification (AHA) required

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience

Ability to float across multiple hospital campuses as needed

Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures

Assist surgeons and surgical teams with operative procedures and instrumentation

Monitor patient status, vital signs, and respond to emergencies as needed

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical activities

Participate in on-call rotation (one night per week and one weekend per month)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality clinical support
