IT Technician

Job Summary :

The Internal IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support maintaining internal IT systems and assisting with infrastructure and security initiatives. This role requires hands-on experience with hardware software and network troubleshooting as well as a working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Provide technical support to internal users across hardware software and network issues.
• Install configure and maintain desktops laptops printers and mobile devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 administration including user setup license management and troubleshooting.
• Assist with network and server maintenance including patching monitoring and backups.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of systems and configurations.
• Participate in internal audits and support SOC 2 compliance efforts by following and documenting IT policies and procedures.
• Identify and escalate security risks or non-compliant practices.
• Collaborate with the IT Manager on projects such as system upgrades migrations and new technology rollouts.
