Responsibilities Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit with 10 labor rooms, 2 ORs, and 3 triage beds Care for high-risk labor patients and participate in approximately 100 births per month with a 23% c-section rate Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (16 : 45 to 05 : 15) On-call duties required as needed No floating required Uses equipment including suction, cautery, and DC machine EPIC charting experience is preferred Responsible for assisting in labor rooms, setting up equipment, handling specimens, and interfacing with lab and other departments Works closely with CSTs and the wider care team to deliver high-quality care Modules and orientation completed onsite and recorded via transcript No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be auto-approved and no RTO allowed during the first week of orientation First-time travelers are welcome to apply No travel pairs or groups are accepted Requirements Active ID or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and STABLE certifications required Fetal Heart certification or CS Training required 1-2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Sterilization, aseptic technique, and surgical skills including c-section and vaginal delivery experience required Ability to handle case carts, set up for procedures, and assist with specimen handling Computer proficiency and strong customer service skills required Must live at least 100 miles from the facility; locals within 100 miles are not eligible Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629965.
