Job Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for mechanical installation, debugging, and final approval per customer specifications related to Fori Automation equipment.
• Lead and guide plant personnel during the debugging and start-up of machines to ensure mechanical functionality is correct and complete.
• Assist service manager and related departments with technical queries from customers regarding our products.
• Participate in both local and non-local service calls and installations.
• Train customer personnel on machine functionalities and proper start-up and debugging procedures for our standard machines.
• Prior to installation, review checklist and open issue list to prepare service technician(s) for the project.
• Collaborate on service manuals to create a more detailed and user-friendly guide.
• Engage in meetings with project managers and department supervisors to align installation plans and discuss open issues before shipment.
• Contribute and brainstorm improvement ideas, presenting them to managers for feedback and implementation.
• Maintain communication with customers on-site to provide updates on objectives.
• Document service work orders and job site status reports.
• Supervise mechanical installation, debugging, and evaluation activities at customer locations.
• Coordinate necessary resources for installations, focusing on kits, warranties, etc.
• Document modifications to Fori equipment on prints and return updates to the relevant engineering department.
• Work with the site manager to ensure smooth daily operations at customer locations.
• Be hands-on for installations, service calls, and warranty issues.
