Position Overview :
We are seeking a passionate in-person Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to make a difference in students’ lives at E-Therapy. This role focuses on delivering therapy services aimed at improving communication skills and addressing speech and language disorders. This position is 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, and communication capabilities.Develop tailored therapy plans and goals based on assessment outcomes and individual student needs.Provide direct therapy services, addressing areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.Work alongside teachers, parents, and educational staff to support students' communication goals effectively.Utilize evidence-based techniques and engaging therapeutic activities during sessions.Monitor student progress and adapt therapy plans to ensure optimal results.Keep accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.Contribute to IEP meetings by providing valuable insights regarding the speech and language needs of students.Qualifications :
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience in providing speech-language therapy in a school or pediatric environment.Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques relevant to pediatric speech-language pathology.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience in teletherapy or online counseling is preferred.Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and related assistive technology is preferred.Benefits :

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting) :
This role requires regular standing, walking, and mobility within the school. Effective communication with students, staff, and parents, both verbally and in writing, is essential. The ability to lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds is necessary, along with physical stamina to supervise and engage with students during the school day.
