Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to work in the MN / Upper Midwest region.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations throughout a specified region

Receive a briefing from fellow Technical Support associates before the customer visit. This will include any action or troubleshooting activities already taken with the customer to address their needs

Tools and instruments provided

Qualifications :

Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC / HMI driven motion control

Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company is a critical requirement

Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting

Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus

Must possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning
