Responsibilities Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Care for high-risk obstetric patients in a culturally diverse population RNs circulate on cesarean sections Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 18 : 00–06 : 30 Required to work every other weekend Floating required between similar units and to affiliate hospitals as needed Uses Epic EMR with experience required Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and caring for high-risk OB patients Must be willing to float between hospitals in the region as needed Must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Preferred scrub color is any solid, typically Royal Blue or Navy Pre-assignment and annual modules required and completed online Free parking is provided for travelers RTO (requested time off) must be specified at time of application Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of consideration Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, and NRP required Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required Experience with Epic charting required Two supervisory references from within the last three years in a comparable setting required First-time travelers accepted Locals within a 50-mile radius accepted with travel pay adjustments Not eligible if returning as a traveler within 3 months of previous permanent employment Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621445.
