Job Details
The individual will report to the Principal Landscape Architect and will work closely with other landscape architecture staffAssisting in the business development task, soliciting opportunities with clients, positioning the firm for future work, and maintaining a diverse portfolio of workPrepare project scopes & fees based on input from Clients, outlining process, tasks, schedule, and fee schedulesPrepare detailed construction documents including but not limited to site plans, grading design, irrigation & planting plans, construction plans & details, specifications, cost estimates, bid proposalsManaging multiple projects from conceptual design through completion of construction documents and as-builtsProvide Design Support During Construction, confirming construction is compliant with the intent of the design, review paving mock-ups for architectural acceptance, paving joint layouts; Review & approval of materials, finishes and layout for architectural structures & features, site furnishing, grading & drainage, irrigation, plants, planting materials, etcProvide Design Support During Construction inspection of landscape and irrigation projects in construction phase, submitting inspection reports summarizing activities, and non-conformance matters, reviewing change orders, and developing on site solutionsSet priorities, prepare project schedules and work on multiple projects in a team-based environment focused on timely delivery and qualityLead teams and supervise staff to deliver projects that meet deadlines and budgetsBe self-motivated with the ability and desire to lead others in the design and construction documentation and construction observation tasksEngage and retain clientMentor and develop junior staffProvide fresh perspectives and be a creative problem solverProvide technical assistance and coordinate with clients and other professional disciplines on individual projectsJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
