Location / Schedule :
This is a full-time, in-office role based in Woods Cross, UT .
Schedule : 5 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 AM
Days Off : Thursday & Friday
Shift : Four 12-hour shifts with two days off.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
The Transport Dispatcher manages daily load planning and dispatch coordination to ensure fuel deliveries meet operational needs while maintaining compliance and efficiency. This role serves as the communication hub between drivers, suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Prepare, monitor, and manage petroleum transport and load planning for an assigned region.
- Enter and maintain supply directives within the Gravitate dispatch system.
- Develop and adjust daily load plans in response to demand changes, supply constraints, weather, road conditions, and personnel updates.
- Ensure all trucks are loaded to maximum legal capacity while maintaining compliance with Hours of Service and DOT regulations.
- Verify all DOT documentation—including permits and registrations—remains accurate and up to date.
- Assist in managing supplier and carrier relationships to support strong service performance and communication.
- Complete additional responsibilities as needed to support business operations.
You’ll be a great fit for this adventure if you have :
3+ years of dispatching experience with proven ability to support a high-volume or complex logistics environment.Strong working knowledge of dispatch systems, transportation planning, or logistics workflows.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort navigating multiple systems / screens.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong listening abilities.Ability to work independently with limited oversight, making confident decisions in fast-paced situations.Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands.High self-awareness and understanding of personal strengths and how they influence performance.The Maverik Spirit – you’re a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Bonus points if you also bring :

Pay Range : $70,000-$80,000 + DOE + Bonus Opportunities
