Lee & Crowley, LLC is hiring a Tax Manager for the firm’s Boston office to start in summer 2025. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Manage multiple engagements, including compliance, consulting, and tax planning services Develop and review complex income tax returns and innovative tax strategies Lead research on federal and state tax issues and deliver comprehensive tax services within deadlines Oversee financial performance of engagements, including budgets, billings, and collections Build and maintain strong client relationships Manage, develop, and mentor senior and staff accountants Assist in managing the internal tax department Contribute to marketing and business development efforts Enhance processes by developing or implementing best practices Qualifications : 3-6+ years of experience in a tax role within a public accounting firm Proven success as a Tax Manager Strong technical tax skills, including tax compliance and return preparation Analytical, detail-oriented with strong research skills Excellent organizational, prioritization, and management skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience with CCH Axcess, ProFx Engagement, and CCH Axcess Document is a plus Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems effectively Strong leadership and personnel management abilities All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristics.
