Job descriptionHospital-based emergency department Annual ED volume : approximately 19,000 visits Works alongside APPs; physician signs off on APP charts EMR : Cerner 12-hour shifts (7 a.m.-7 p.m. or 7 p.m.-7 a.m.) Preference for physicians open to occasional night shifts Block scheduling offered Full-spectrum emergency medicine : pediatric through geriatric Common procedures include intubation, central lines, chest tubes, laceration repair, I&D, and reductions Mix of trauma and acute presentations Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Emergency Medicine Completed EM Residency required Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Build a wide professional network by collaborating with different healthcare teams, opening doors for future career prospects and collaborations.
