Job descriptionU.S. Citizenship required. MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiology and Electrophysiology. Active, unrestricted medical license (any U.S. state or territory). Strong clinical, teaching, and interpersonal skills. The James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital (JAHVH) in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Electrophysiology Cardiologist to join our dynamic and mission-driven Cardiology Section within the Department of Medicine. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide cutting-edge cardiovascular care to our nation’s Veterans in a collegial, academic, and patient-centered environment.
Position Highlights
- Provide comprehensive EP services including device implantation, ablations, and consultative care for arrhythmia management.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and electrophysiology staff dedicated to delivering high-quality care.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows through our strong affiliation with the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine .
- Opportunity to engage in quality improvement, research, and clinical innovation initiatives within VA’s national healthcare network.
