Wayfare Tavern, a landmark San Francisco tavern known for elevated American classics, is hiring a Sous Chef to join our leadership team.

We’re looking for someone who :

Has 3+ years in a high-volume upscale or fine dining kitchen

Leads by example and motivates the team

Is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives under pressure

Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities include :

Supporting the Executive Chef

Maintaining consistency, cleanliness & quality standards

Assisting with ordering, inventory & cost controls

Training and mentoring kitchen staff
