Nature and Scope
The Outpatient Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for the leadership strategic direction and daily operations of the hospitals outpatient rehabilitation services including physical therapy occupational therapy and speech-language pathology. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care that aligns with the hospitals mission regulatory standards and financial goals.
The Manager oversees clinical and administrative staff manages departmental budgets monitors productivity and performance metrics and ensures compliance with all federal state and accrediting agency requirements. The Manager collaborates closely with referring providers hospital leadership and community partners to expand access to rehabilitation services enhance patient outcomes and support the hospitals role as a trusted provider of rural healthcare.
This position requires strong leadership organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to balance clinical excellence with operational efficiency in a critical access hospital environment.

We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experienceCompensation Range :

Education :
Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.Current active California licensure in respective discipline (PT OT or SLP) required.Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification approved by the AHA.Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical experience in rehabilitation services including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Experience managing outpatient therapy operations staffing scheduling and performance metrics.Demonstrated success in program development quality improvement and compliance with regulatory standards (CMS Joint Commission etc.).Experience in a critical access or rural healthcare setting preferred.Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop and manage departmental budgets and productivity standards.Proven ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams and foster a culture of collaboration accountability and patient-centered care.Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
