Overview : The Warehouse Technician has primary responsibility to ensure the safe and efficient movement of all Champion Petfoods' finished product within the Warehouse at state-of-the-art pet food production facility located in Auburn, Kentucky. This role will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. You will have the opportunity to :

• Receive packaged product / finished goods from the Production department, ensuring it has met established quality assurance standards.
• Stock the product in an efficient, orderly, and timely manner.
• Operate fork trucks (sit and stand), turret trucks, and electric pallet jacks (riders) in a safe and efficient manner, according to established Company policies and practices.
• Load and unload trucks from and to vendors / distributors.
• Perform order picking and refill processes to support outbound operations.
• Use hand-held scanners, enter correct information for product packaged into the Warehouse Management System.
• Ensure pallet license plates accurately display product information.
• Develop awareness and understanding of quality assurance standards.
• Support and represent Champion Petfoods in community sponsored events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between the range listed above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee's work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
