Job Responsibilities

• Create individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that focus on aspects such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure a unified approach to care.
• Educate patients and their families to empower progress beyond the therapy room.
• Support sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and treatments to ensure seamless care throughout the patient's rehabilitation process.
• Keep thorough and timely records in line with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
