Minimally invasive skills a plus Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Employed- 129-bed facility, one of 22 facilities the Medical Group- The draw area serves a population of 75,000 to 100,000 which includes southwestern Virginia and southeastern Kentucky. - There is a local 10-physician primary care network to supply patient referrals. - This expansive service area of Southwest Virginia and Southeastern Kentucky holds huge potential.- Goal is to find a general surgeon who shares the same philosophy as the Medical Group in being able to accommodate patients at home and not transfer them out of the area for their care. - The hospital has expressed a large amount of flexibility to fit the needs of the new physician. - If board-eligible, board certification must be completed within five years of completion of residency for all candidates.
