Barrios Technology has a need for a Contract Administrator (Remote Eligible) to join the Corporate team.

Responsibilities

The Contract Administrator  will :

  • Be the lead facilitator of the Organizational Conflict of Interest (OCI) plans for all Barrios contracts and provide OCI guidance for new work.
  • Provide full life-cycle contract and subcontract administration, with the ability to support each element of government acquisition. This may include, requests for proposal (RFPs), proposal support, and pricing.
  • Interface with Barrios customers and Barrios internal organizations regarding OCI and contracting matters.
  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and administration of all types of contracts, which includes Prime contracts.
  • Administer contracts with the U.S. government and subcontracts other prime contractors.
  • Review contract documentation and support the negotiations of teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and terms and conditions.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Education / Experience / Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience in a business-related role.
  • Three (3) plus years of Federal Contract Administration experience.
  • Working knowledge of Organization Conflict of Interest mitigation.
  • Preferences :

  • Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other Federal regulations.
  • Experience with OCI analysis and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with large dollar value and highly complex contracts for professional support services and solutions delivery.
  • Experience managing a large contract portfolio; including contracts of various size, scope, and complexity.
  • Knowledge of government contract export control requirements.
  • Essential Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • Work may involve sitting for extended periods.
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary.
  • Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
  • Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, fax, etc.)
  • Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical.
  • Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk / hazard to the employee or others.
