Position : Assistant Manager

Hours : 40 Weekly

Role : Assistant Manager

As Assistant Manager, you will embody Lush’s Leadership Practices : Be Real, Be Curious, Lead Fearlessly, Adapt and Evolve, Grow Talent, and Live with Purpose.

You will support the Shop Manager in all business areas, taking on managerial duties as needed to ensure a great customer and staff experience, operational excellence, and sales growth.

Responsibilities :

Sales & Customer Experience :

  • Ensure exceptional customer service, exceeding sales goals and creating an inclusive environment
  • Educate customers and staff on our brand values and initiatives
  • Deepen product knowledge and make informed recommendations
  • Understand business metrics to drive profitable results
  • Team Leadership :

  • Support and motivate your team on the sales floor
  • Develop talent through coaching and feedback
  • Communicate needs and feedback effectively
  • Engage your team with the brand’s purpose
  • Assist in recruitment, staffing, and staff development, including DEIB initiatives
  • Operational Excellence :

  • Support compliance with policies and procedures
  • Assist in stock management and merchandising
  • Ensure proper scheduling and staff wellbeing
  • Qualifications : Required :

  • 1-3 years of supervisory retail experience
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Customer service and sales expertise
  • Interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
  • Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, and weekends
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with consultation-based customer service
  • Staff development skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and adaptable to other systems
  • Basic HR skills
  • Cultural collaboration and DEIB training
  • Language skills in Spanish, French, or others
