Chestnut Park Rehabilitation and Nursing, conveniently located in Oneonta, NY, is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team!

Position Type : Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem

Shift : Evening or Overnight shift (8-hr, 12-hr or 16-hr shifts)

Role Summary :

As a Registered Nurse at Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, your role is essential in the well-being of our patients. You will manage patient care on a daily basis and contribute to planning and coordination of care, oversee nursing staff, and provide crucial support for patients and their families, both physically and emotionally.

Key Duties :

• Assess patient needs by building strong relationships with patients, families, and others who understand service requirements.
• Oversee nursing staff and assignments to meet patient care needs.
• Create a compassionate environment that offers emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, their families, and visitors.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment by adhering to protocols and procedures, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary.
• Safeguard patients and staff by enforcing infection control policies, medication protocols, and controlled substance regulations.
• Promote teamwork and cooperation by facilitating communication and problem-solving with multidisciplinary teams.
