About The Position

Pay Rate : $18.00 - $22.00 / Hourly.

Summary :   The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers by performing both clinical and administrative duties. CMAs ensure efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care in outpatient settings such as family practice, internal medicine, specialty clinics, and urgent care.

Responsibilities :

• Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record.
• Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data.
• Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice.
• Set up exam / procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs.
• Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines.
• Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications as directed by provider.
