Job Title : CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist with at least two years of experience. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing their own set-ups and runs on the machine, with a strong understanding of height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Familiarity with Fanuc Controls is essential, as the role requires immediate productivity with minimal training.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-ups and runs on CNC machines independently.
• Utilize height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Operate and program using Fanuc Controls directly at the machine.
• Maintain and manage tools and equipment effectively.
• Work efficiently in a two-machine cell with live milling tooling and twin spindle setups.

Work Environment

The work environment is a smaller machine shop with around 50 employees, fostering a close-knit, team-oriented culture. The facility is climate-controlled, and the first shift operates from 7 am to 3 : 30 pm, with potential for overtime and Saturday work. The dress code includes jeans, a T-shirt, and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00 / hr.
