Southwestern Medical Clinic, Niles, is seeking a compassionate full-time Pediatrician to join our dedicated team of providers. This is a great opportunity for providers with student loans! Corewell Health Southwestern Medical - Niles, qualifies for the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program. Award recipients, selected through the programs application process, may receive up to $100,000 for three years of full-time service!

Expected volume of 20-40 patients per day once established. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am to 7 : 00pm, Saturday 8 : 00am - 2 : 00pm Epic electronic health records. Point-of-Care testing available onsite.

Essential Functions

• Assesses and monitors the medical needs of patients / significant others.
• Provides quality medical services to patients in a cost effective, appropriate manner and ensures coverage of case load at all times.
• Provides input into the development of policies and procedures as they related to medical practice and quality patient care.
• Provides oversight of Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and others providing delegated services to patients.
• Evaluates patients'' / parents' : / staff educational needs and develops and implements appropriate teaching strategies or delegates to appropriate resources.
• Documents in a manner consistent with regulatory standards.
• Communicates with other members of the health care team in order to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services. Acts as a patient / family advocate.
• Participates in ongoing process improvement activities through the development / application of clinical paths, process improvement and other related activities.
• Actively works with Corewell Health to meet financial and patient satisfaction goals.
