Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details

Location : Green Bay, WI 54301 (Wisconsin nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Oct 13, 2025 – Jan 11, 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Stepdown (CVICU); may float to ICU or IMCU

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (NOC); every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36

Job Type : Travel RN, On-Site

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2200 - $2360

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, CVICU, ICU, or IMCU

Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

Ability to float to ICU or IMCU as needed

Availability to work Thanksgiving (Wednesday before and Thanksgiving night)

No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Green Bay

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Stepdown (CVICU) unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Float to ICU or IMCU as needed to support clinical needs

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

Provide compassionate care and support to patients and families
