Education Facilitator RN-BSN - Day Surgery / Infusions / PACU

SCHEDULE : Working 32 hours / week- fulltime.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES :

• Assesses educational needs and coordinates education activities of the staff.
• Supports and facilitates new-hire on-boarding and competency assessment.
• Ensures nursing practice of the department is aligned with current evidence-based practice and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based interventions for patient care.
• Incorporates high-reliability and safety tools into all methods of teaching.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the Education Department in offering continuing nursing education activities as defined by the following :
