Unit : Labor & Delivery (L&D), Family Birthing Center

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Duration : 13-week travel nurse contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,780 - $1,910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Virginia or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Ability to excel in a fast-paced, patient-centered healthcare environment

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in the Family Birthing Center

Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum, and newborn care

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and nursing standards
