Description : Job Summary :
The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to provide clinical services, including diagnosing and treating patients, prescribing and administering treatments, and offering input on treatment plans. Responsibilities also include consulting with other healthcare providers, participating in medical necessity authorization, and collaborating with case managers, therapists, and nurses.
Key Responsibilities :
- Function independently and as part of a team to perform comprehensive assessments and diagnostics for complex patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe appropriate treatments.
- Implement and monitor interventions to support patient stability.
- Perform medical procedures such as injections, minor surgeries, and phlebotomy, based on competency.
- Collaborate with team members for referrals and decision-making, providing educational tools to staff, patients, and families.
Requirements :
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Clinical expertise in cardiovascular nursing.Ability to communicate effectively with health professionals and large groups.Registered Nurse in CT with a master’s in nursing1 to 2 years of Pediatric experience preferred, however new graduates are welcome to apply.Board Certification as an APRN, current Nurse Practitioner certification, current BLS provider card, CPR certified.Charter Oak Health Center Offers Outstanding Benefits That Include :
