SENIOR TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER

The Senior Talent Acquisition Manager plays a strategic and hands-on role in shaping CPL’s talent pipeline. This experienced HR professional takes full ownership of the talent acquisition lifecycle, ensuring the company attracts, engages, and retains top-tier professionals as business needs evolve. Operating in a multi-state environment, the Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager leverages innovative sourcing strategies, data-informed decision-making, and a seamless hiring process to deliver a superior candidate experience.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in a large, multi-state organization; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Accuracy and consistency in job postings, communications, and recruitment data by maintaining a high level of attention to detail throughout the talent acquisition process
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust with hiring leaders and candidates
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining diverse talent pipelines
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration with HR operations and broader business goals
  • Proven experience using analytics and metrics to optimize hiring strategies, measure performance, and drive business impact
  • Expert knowledge of applicant tracking systems and other HR technologies that enhance efficiency and compliance; experience in ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • A deep understanding of AEC industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition preferred

CORE DUTIES

  • Support the development and lead the execution of talent acquisition initiatives in alignment with the broader strategy set by the Sr. HR Director and company growth objectives
  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand hiring needs, forecast workforce demand, and proactively source top talent
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights and guidance on talent strategy
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, from sourcing and screening to negotiating offers and onboarding
  • Monitor labor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging workforce dynamics to inform sourcing strategies
  • Continuously evaluate and refine sourcing channels to maximize the return on investment, including employer branding, job boards, social media, and industry networks
  • Build strong relationships with candidates to create a seamless and compelling candidate experience that differentiates CPL from competitors
  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Identify, implement, and manage technology solutions that enhance recruitment efficiency, including applicant tracking systems, assessment tools, and AI-driven sourcing techniques
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and analytics to optimize sourcing strategies, enhance candidate screening, and improve hiring outcomes by identifying top talent more efficiently and reducing time-to-fill
  • Strengthen CPL’s employer brand by collaborating with marketing to promote a positive, engaging, and competitive talent narrative
  • Leverage data analytics to inform hiring strategies, track key performance indicators, and optimize decision-making
  • Represent the organization at recruitment events, job fairs, and networking engagements to expand outreach and attract top talent[SD1]
  • Supervisory requirements
  • Engage and foster the growth of CPL team members : provide encouragement and regular feedback; and serve as a mentor / example for all levels of the team

  • The rate for this position generally ranges between $119,000- 148,000k annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
