Software Engineer - Full Stack Development - 11 yrs of Experience (Limited Telework) - TS / SCI w / Poly clearance is required

Halogen Engineering is looking for a Senior Software engineer who will be responsible for providing application development and support to an eco-system of big data apps in a collaborative environment. Some of the roles and responsibilities include :

• Interacts with customers PMs and other development teams to gather analyze and define requirements to determine the most effective software and web technologies to satisfy the clients needs
• Develops maintains supports and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g. processing-intensive analytics novel algorithm development manipulation of extremely large data sets real-time systems and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware / software trade-offs software reuse and requirements analysis from system level to individual software components
• Utilizes software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development integration and enterprise-level production environment

Designs creates tests and maintains software and web-based applications and content solutions to satisfy customer requirements

Follows a formal design process using formal specifications data flow diagrams and adheres to laws standards and established guidelines for development and delivery of software and web applications

Salary Range

The projected compensation range for this position is $213 to $256 (annualized USD).

Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to location the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

OR A Masters degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience OR A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline (See Note 2) from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of systems engineering experience. Examples of Qualified engineering fields include : Aeronautics Biomedical Chemical Civil Computer Electrical Environmental Mechanical Nuclear Software Systems and Engineering Management.
