Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025 , is excited to announce a full-time opening for the position of Landscape & Turf Management Instructor – P11286 with the Division of Workforce Development.

What You’ll Do

The Landscape & Turf Management Instructor is a position housed within the Division of Workforce Development that provides instruction for the Landscape & Turf Management program and reports to the Director of Business and Workforce Development. The instructor is responsible for effectively teaching the program, creating an ideal learning environment, maintaining an appropriate balance of discipline, and being able to transfer knowledge to students, while staying abreast of evolving regulations within the industry.

Persons applying for this position must be dependable, highly responsible, independent, self-starting, and have the ability to interact with a diverse student population.

Who We’re Looking For

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or horticulture related field or a certification as a landscape or horticulture specialist with at least 5 years of expertise in the field, or a minimum of three years of experience as a certified teacher in an agriculture program.
