Job Requirements

Education Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or certification in Occupational Therapy preferred

Certifications Requirements : Active California Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license

Experience Requirements : Minimum of 1 year of SNF experience; familiarity with outpatient rehab settings is a plus; previous experience with diverse patient populations preferred

Other Requirements : Ability to work scheduled days, good communication skills, ability to follow safety protocols, flexibility to adapt to facility needs, and a team-oriented attitude

Job Responsibilities

Provide individualized occupational therapy assessments and treatment plans tailored to outpatient rehabilitation patients.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care strategies.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes.

Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, facility policies, and safety protocols.

Educate patients and families on rehabilitation exercises, safety measures, and home care strategies to promote recovery and independence.
