The Priory Hotel is a boutique 42-room hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh on the city's North shore.

Pittsburgh's Grand Hall at the Priory is Western Pennsylvania's most historic event venue.

Mansions On Fifth Hotel is a boutique luxury hotel in Pittsburgh's East End. Located in Shadyside, just minutes from the University of Pittsburgh and Oakland.

Banquet Server

Banquet Server responsibilities include serving food and beverages, helping prepare the event space and cleaning up the event space once the affair is complete. Ultimately, you will work with guests throughout the event to ensure they are comfortable and relaxed during their time at the banquet. Pittsburgh's Grand Hall events are scheduled every Saturday with the occasional Weekday event, Multiple Fridays & Sundays in 2025

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverage based on banquet menu
• Bussing or clearing plates / silverware / glassware after each course
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
• Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations.
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
• Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
• Assist with event preparation, set up and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, table cloths and place settings
• Adhere to safety and quality regulations
• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and stay comfortable on their feet for the entire shift
