Subcontract Management Staff
The Aerostructures Composite group is seeking a qualified Subcontract Management Staff who will be responsible for the overall performance, including cost / schedule / technical, of the supply base. This individual will play a critical role in driving material delivery improvements to best support our internal and external customers.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance.
- Supplier relationship management and driving improvement efforts.
- Work cross-functionally to identify, manage and mitigate significant supplier issues.
- Lead key supplier negotiations of cost, terms and conditions and USG flow downs.
- Management of supplier performance metrics, including Supplier MRP / On-Time Delivery, Purchase Price Variance, Purchase Requisition placement, Contract Overspend / NTE performance, Cost of Poor Quality, etc.
- Manage resolution of quality issues Q / A hold, rejections, DRT, & all supporting quality initiatives.

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college5+ years of related experience in subcontract management, procurement, or a related fieldKnowledge of contracting principles, practices, and regulationsStrong analytical, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to lead and work with cross-functional teamsDesired Skills :
Familiarity with the lifecycle of a production programExperience managing multiple complex subcontractsExperience in the execution of contracts for large programsClearance Level : None

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
